“ Mid-century Modern offered the likes of the Pillbox Hat, the French Pleat, Audrey Hepburn and Herman Miller’s Marshmallow Sofa by George Nelson. Nelson’s fascination with the atom inspired our couture creation and subsequent explosion of atoms with remnants of the atoms still intact. What remains??? Tattered, but bejeweled atoms, followed by the extraordinary discovery of the DNA molecule, the adorned Pillbox Hat gone astray, the indestructible lacquered French pleat and the classic elegant presence of the legendary Audrey Hepburn. “
